San Francisco, August 29: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is currently on an official visit to the United States to seek support and attract investments aimed at enhancing the state's prosperity.
Stalin's visit focuses on engaging with major US-based companies to secure investments for Tamil Nadu. He expressed his goals on social media, stating, "In the USA—the land of opportunities, seeking support for the prosperity of Tamil Nadu."
Prior to his departure, Stalin addressed the media at Chennai Airport. The official DMK account shared a video of his media interaction with the caption, "Hon'ble Chief Minister Mr. M K Stalin met and interviewed the media at the Chennai airport before his official visit to the United States."
Earlier, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with State Minister for Information Technology and Industries Sridhar Babu Duddilla, visited Apple headquarters in California on August 9. During the visit, CM Reddy met with senior Apple executives in the manufacturing, public policy, and healthcare sectors.
In a social media post, CM Reddy described the visit to Apple Park in Cupertino, California, as a valuable opportunity to promote Hyderabad and Telangana as key investment destinations. He highlighted various initiatives, including the new Electronics Park, Skills University, AI City, and Future City, to senior Apple executives.
Reddy expressed optimism that the discussions will lead to positive outcomes for Hyderabad and Telangana, reinforcing the state’s position as a leading investment hub. Before California, Reddy and his team visited New York, New Jersey, Washington, DC, Dallas, and Texas.
